First a resolution. I will blog more!

This year will be taking me and my studio into a new direction as we focus on Senior photography. That does not mean I will not be doing weddings though. In fact just in the last 2 days we have had the pleasure of photographing 2 spectacular weddings. On New Years eve we went to Florida and brought in the new year with Grant and Elizabeth. Then on the first weekend Beth and Rob tied the knot.

I want to thank both couples for allowing me to be a part of the day of their lives.

If you read this blog then you know I am not much for words, unless in person then it is another story.

So, I stumbled across some really neat images Chuck had snapped when I was in the hospital this past July. We had a model-friend of ours Taylor and her beaux Marcus stay at our loft so they could visit Nashville. Chuck had good inentions on doing some kind of fashion shoot with Taylor but wasn't able to since we had our daughter Olivia a wee bit earlier than expected! So instead Chuck did some impromptu shooting a-la-calvin klein ....you know the underwear ads you've seen in magazines. Enjoy and stayed tuned for some new Chuck Arlund high fashion imagery coming this way.

I dont believe we ever posted this image.....we got A LOT of good feedback in that this is a creative family photo you probably won't find anywhere else!! We shot this in my mom's backyard. Yes, that is a "fake" martini in my hand with cigarette lit in the other hand. Lachlann had to do his "ice-cream face" and Chuck decided to do his best James Hetfield impersination....but with a grill instead of pyros! I love this!! I think you will too!

This has been a great year for weddings. I want to thank all of my couples for making this a great year.

What is in the future for Arlund? Well, one word. SENIORS. I am going to do what I absolutely love doing and that is fashion photography. Because I do not want to uproot my family and move to Italy I am going to photograph seniors.

I will still be accepting wedding commissions but not as many as previous years so if you would like me to photograph your wedding please make sure you contact us as soon as you set a date. We will book up quick.
